Car description

1974 Jeep CJ5, 258 Inline 6, 3-spd, 4X4, 41k Original Miles!
This is an amazing, driver condition survivor with about 41k original, documented miles. An original, numbers-matching Jeep with some modest updates. Runs and drives better than new. Drive anywhere just like it is. Alternatively, it would make a perfect starting point for full restoration.

The original owner of this Jeep was also the owner of the AMC/Jeep dealership in Tallahassee in the 1970s. It spent most of its life on his farm. About 7 years ago it was sold to a friend and senior employee of the same company. So this wonderful Jeep has remained within the local "Jeep family". Well-kept, well-loved, and its entire history well-known.

The original straight 6 starts right up thanks to the electronic ignition added by the current owner. The car runs, drives, shifts, stops, and steers great with new shocks, leaf springs, steering rack, alternator, and exhaust. A factory-trained technician recently performed a complete inspection and tune-up. The body is very straight and solid in spite of some minor rust and dings in certain areas. It is extremely rare to find an original Jeep this age in such great condition.
