Car description

-Odometer shows approx 195,000 miles, but obviously the motor/transmission have been replaced. Approximately10K on new motor and transmission.

- 2.3L Motor from a Ford Thunderbird - Custom programmable ECU - Blue LED dash lights

- C4 transmission from Ford Bronco - 4-wheel disk brakes - LED tail lights - Rear corner panel armor - 3" lift Springs, plus 1" lift shackles (about 4" suspension lift total) - Front / Rear Lockers

- 33x10.50-15 Tires - 2" Aluminum wheel spacers - Aftermarket stereo with XM Radio and Bluetooth

- Center console with sub-woofer - Recently replaced interior carpet and seats

-The Jeep does not have the Hard Top, only the Soft Top. But it is a convertible "frame-less" top, so the windows all unzip and store in a pocket under the roof.

Drive Train: - Turbo-charged, Fuel-Injected 2.3L motor out of a Ford Thunderbird - Ford C4 automatic transmission, built to same specs as the 800hp Mustang that does Pikes Peak Hill Climb.

- Flex Fuel (Can run both 91/93 octane and E85, just need to add a Flex Fuel Sensor) - Generates around 250hp on 91 octane (twice the power of stock) - Gets about 18mpg on the highway (cruising at 55-60mph) - Wideband O2 system for tuning the EFI computer - Mustang 5.0 Throttle Body - Atlas 4-speed transfer case (1:1 / 2.7:1 / 3.8:1 / 10.3:1 crawl ratios) - Garrett GT28RS Ball bearing Turbo (The "Disco Potato") - Stinger Performance long-tube stainless steel header - Exhaust Wrap on header and down-pipe - Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator - Front-mount Turbo inter-cooler and Transmission Oil cooler - Stinger Performance PIMP ECU, completely tune-able by laptop - Hydroboost Brake conversion - Wilwood adjustable disc brake propotioning valve

- Ford 8.8 31-spline Rear End with disk brakes - 4.56 Gears - Ox Locker in front, with electric switch on dash to engage locker - Aussie automatic rear Locker - New Goodyear Duratrac 33x10.50x15 tires - 4.5" Lift (3.5" RE lift springs, plus 1" lift shackles) - 2" DOM tube front driveshaft - Double-Cardan (CV) rear driveshaft - 2.5" Borla Exhaust (does have a small exhaust leak at downpipe flange, not a big deal)

Interior: - Interior was gutted and Rhino-Lined - Front and Rear Seats, carpet, and floor mats are only about 1yr old. - Kenwood Stereo with CD, Bluetooth, and XM Radio. Alpine amp driving Polk Momo speakers - Infinity Subwoofer with 500watt Kicker amp, hidden in the center console - LED Dash Lights - Wideband AFR and Boost Gauges - Bluetooth module for ECU, can monitor and tune the motor from a laptop or Android tablet wirelessly - Later "Family Style" roll bar in the back with 3-point shoulder seat belts

- Frameless Soft Top - Converts to Safari Top, windows store in a hidden pocket on top - Half doors with Soft uppers - LED Tail Lights - Body Armor on the rear corners - Aftermarket Front/Rear bumper with tow hitch.
I have receipts and installation/instruction manuals for just about everything. Engine, transmission, and transfer case all have about 10,000 miles on them. Everything was new/rebuilt this past year.

The Atlas 4 transfer case has a 3-lever cable shifter, so you can engage Hi/Lo on the front and rear axles independently, and the 3rd lever is for ultra-low. With a wide range of crawl ratios on the t-case, and an automatic transmission, you're always in a good gear to climb. You don't loose any momentum from shifting. Just point theJeepwhere you want it to go, and it gets there.
The PiMP ECU lets you adjust Air/Fuel mixture maps, timing maps, etc. Still needs some fine-tuning for extremely cold weather startup, but I added a block heater so it still starts fine when it's plugged in.
Right now the motor is tuned conservatively at around 250hp at 12psi of boost, which is still very quick for aJeepand should be extremely reliable for years of running. The GT28RS turbo is good for around 20psi on this motor, which should be good for around 300hp on 93 octane. Here in Colorado they only sell 91 octane, so I had to back off a little bit. On E85, the motor should put out around 400hp, but you'd be pushing the limits of both the turbo and the engine itself.
The turbo is a great fit. The power is smooth and controllable, not like the typical V8 conversion. And if you keep it around 60-65 it gets about 18mpg on the highway, which most v8 conversions can't do.

With the 2.3 turbo, thisJeeponly feels like a hot-rod when you mash the pedal. If you're cruising around town and light on the gas, it feels like a driving a regularjeep. Enough power to do what you want, but tame and easy to drive. The suspension conquers the trails pretty well off road, but still cruises nicely at 65mph on the highway.
