Car description

1981 Jeep Scrambler CJ 8. 65,000 original miles. In-line straight 6 Cylinder, 4.2L/252 Cubic Inch. 4 Speed manual transmission. Runs and drives great. Starts easy and runs smooth. Original Jeep Factory fiberglass tan half cab top. Original Factory Jeep steel doors and wheels/capsin great condition. All gauges work. Original Factory Paint and Interior. Chestnut Metallic Brown Exterior with Nutmeg Interior. Dash pad in great condition! Minimal body rust in only two spots. See two photos with finger. Frame and drive train have nothing but minor surface rust. Clear title. This Jeep spent it's entire life in the arid desert of west Texas. I have owned it for 10 years and it has lived in my garage and has been driven seldom. All original and very complete SURVIVOR! You can keep the jeep with patina as is, restore it to a rare classic, or use it to hunt in style. Jeep was just serviced and tuned, and had original carb rebuilt and passed Texas Inspection in February 2017. Rust free frame, body mounts, bed, tailgate, floor pans, etc. Manual steering and manual brakes. Over the last 10 years I have replaced motor mounts, clutch, brakes, and many other minor repairs to keep it running well. Four Wheel Drive works great! I added an after market am/fm radio that looks like the original am radio. I am looking for the original am and it will go with Jeep if I can find it! Previous owner installed off-road light rack long ago and drilled holes in top of windshield frame. He then took it all off and filled holes with Bondo. No paint. See photos of top of windshield frame. I purchased this jeep and added the hunting gear. Pipe bumpers, front and rear, winch plate and rollers (no winch ever installed), tow bar (removable), trailer hitch in rear and feeder hitch in front. Quail seats hitches on front bumper. Seats not included. Rear high seats are high end adjustable hydraulic tractor seats with seat beltsand of course the requisite twin gun racks. ALL OF THISHUNTING EQUIPMENT WAS MOUNTED WITHOUT WELDING OR DRILLING HOLES AS I KNEW THE COLLECTABLITY OF THIS SCRAMBLER. EXCEPT..... TWO SMALL WELDS ON ROLLBAR. SEE PHOTO. I also have and am selling with this jeep the original front and rear bumpers, and the rail cover for the rear bumper (OEM inbox). So for those who want to restore thisjeep to alloriginal, not to worry!!! No A/C, just heat. Dash is uncut. Someone drilled two small holes to mount surface speakers and I went back with new rear mount as originally equipped. $1000 is duewithin 24 hours after auction close via PayPal. Balance tobe paid within 72 hours. Jeep is located in Houston, Texas. Buyer is responsible for all cost and coordination of transporting this Jeep. I have 18 years of 100% positive feedback. Buy with confidence. If you have less than 25 Positive Feedbacks please contact me for approval to bid. Please examine all of the photos andemail or call with any questions BEFORE YOU BID! I love this Jeep but never drive it....... Happy Bidding! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS HERE!
