UPDATE TO LISTING : IF you want to save a lot of money and buy a nice turn key done Jeep CJ this is the CJ for you! If your looking to buy a nice rust free classic Jeep CJ and have a "retail shop" do the restoration and repair work for you. Then you better get ready to spend over 15,000 alone just for the labor bill your going to pay. * You will still need to "buy a good rust free project Jeep to start with". *You will also need to buy all the new parts to install back in and on it. Due the math = a nice rust free, un cut project CJ with factory power steering and factory power disk brake with factory V8 as original equipment with run about 8, to 10,000 if metal work is not required! Now buy all the new parts to install "in it" and ' back on it" to make it like new = That's about 3 to 5,000 more in parts alone, * Now you need to have it taken apart inside and out and have it ( Painted inside and out ) that's 2 to 3,000 more for nice paint job. So do the mate so far = On the low side that only in your project 14,000 to 18,000 total and you still more needed. Now get ready!! You need to go through the all the running gear and 4 wheel drive system make sure every thing in " like new working order" and repair or rebuild anything in question that is not &.No oil leaks = That's more $$. Then you will need to go through all the electrical and replace or repair anything not working correct = More $$$$. * Now you need to install everything back on it and in it = More $$. The labor bill will always cost you more that the (Jeep to start with and the parts required) to restore in back like new. Total on this kind of build will cost you about ( 16 to 18,000 ) out of pocket = if you do it all yourself !
