Jaguar E-type XKE 1962 OTS matching numbers very solid body. LHD

This 1962 Jaguar E-type S1 XKE 3.8 Roadster project car is an absolute ideal car for restoration and has matching numbers.

This E-Type is now being offered either as a restoration project or a fully rebuilt car by ourselves West Coast E-type.

The body is in very shape and would only require new floors, outer sills/rockers, a repair or replacement to the rear lower valance and a repair to the rear fenders just behind the doors. The rest of the body is in excellent rust-free shape. The firewall is perfect and still displays the factory crayon markings.
The car is complete with all its essential parts including the original matching number engine block, gear box, chassis plate and body tag. The cylinder head is not numbered

Project E-types with matching numbers of this year requiring such little metal work are becoming increasingly difficult to find and as such represents a unique opportunity to acquire one of the most outstanding ground-breaking cars ever made.
