1984 Jaguar XJ6Chevy 350 SwapOne Family Owned Since New
What you see here is a very nice example of the classic Jaguar XJ6 sedan. The interior and exterior of this vehicle is in excellent condition overall for the age of the car. It is free of dings and dents, paint still shines nice and it very reliable daily driver (if you wish it to be). Car was purchased new in Oklahoma and spent its entire life in Oklahoma and Texas, owned by one family. Conversion to the Chevy 350 was done about 15 yrs ago professionally and is extremely reliable motor.
The EXTERIOR of the car is in excellent shape for the year and miles. It is not a flawless exterior, but chrome is excellent, body and paint are excellent, and is quite striking in the metallic blue color. It has a couple small rock chips on front and one small area of bubbling in the paint on one panel (see picture), but other than that, it is excellent.
The INTERIOR of the car is in very good shape. The interior is good with limited issues on the interior. Wood is in god shape, windows are working, sunroof works, air and radio all work. Gauges are operational and both tanks work (if you don't know what that means, it has two gas tanks, and both are working, something that fails in many older Jags of this era). Only picks on the interior is a small tear in the rear seat and the sunroof panel is missing. Nothing to spoil daily drives in this classic beauty though.
The MECHANICS of the car are excellent. The conversion to the Chevy 350 V8 has made this classic Jag a nearly bulletproof driver. I have had several Jags of this era and the inline stock 6 that came with the car is great...when its working, however many times you had to spend half the time in the shop with the stock engine. Not so with this one! This starts up everytime, drives down the road with a quiet burble of a rumble down the road. Its parts are dirt cheap and can be found at any NAPA store (ironically, previous owner owned a NAPA store so guess where most the parts came from). Since parts are easy to find and can be fixed by just about any mechanic, this is something you can drive, enjoy and won't break the bank when a repair is needed. Nice bonus is that this engine is so reliable, those times are likely few and far between.
Overall, this Jaguar is a very nicely preserved example of the classic sedan with the reliability of USA mechanics. You can drive this home if you desire. $149 dealer fee added to ALL sales. Remaining balance is paid through cashiers check, wire transfer, or cash. No other payment methods accepted. PayPal for deposit only.
