Car description

YAZTEC AUTOMOTIVE IS PROUD TO OFFER THIS ONE FAMILY OWNED RUST-FREE 1969 JAGUAR XKE 2+2 WITH A 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND FACTORY A/C FOR SALE. THIS IS A TRUE BARN FIND WITH ONLY 32,484 MILES THAT WAS STORED IN A WAREHOUSE FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. THIS XKE WAS SOLD NEW IN KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER. HE GAVE IT TO HIS DAUGHTER IN 2010. THE CAR WAS IN A DRY STORAGE AT THE TIME. UNFORTUNATELY, IN 2018 DUE TO A STROKE SHE LOST HER PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CAPACITY TO MANAGE HER FINANCIAL AFFAIRS AND ALL HER ASSETS WERE LIQUIDATED BY HER FAMILY. WE PURCHASED THE CAR FROM HER ESTATE. WE HAVE ALL THE COURT ASSIGNED TRUSTEE DOCUMENTS. THIS VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING DUE TO BAD FUEL IN THE TANK AND LINES. HOWEVER,WE HAVE PERFORMED SOME PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION INDICATING THE ENGINE TURNS FREELY AND WITHOUT ANY ABNORMAL SOUNDS. INSTEAD OF PURCHASING A RUSTY AND PUT TOGETHER XKE SO CALLED "RESTORED" YOU CAN PURCHASE THIS ORIGINAL AND RUST-FREE CAR AND RESTORE IT THE RIGHT WAY.WE HAVE A CLEAR TENNESSEE TITLE FOR THE CAR. PLEASE READ THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION BELOW AND VIEW THE(80) HIGH QUALITY IMAGES PRIOR TO BIDDING. WE ENCOURAGE ALL BIDDERS TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE IN PERSON OR HAVE IT INSPECTED BY A THIRD PARTY BEFORE AUCTION END. PLEASE REVIEW OUR (1173), 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACKS AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. WE HAVE EARNED THEM BY PROVIDING A DETAILED LISTING FOR EACH ITEM AND CONDUCTING BUSINESS ON EBAY FOR THE LAST 18 YEARS. HERE IS THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION: EXTERIOR: THIS IS A TRUE RUST-FREE AND ACCIDENT-FREE SURVIVOR THAT NEEDS RESTORATION. THE BODY PANELS ARE STRAIGHT AND HAVE GREAT SHUT LINES. THE DOORS, REAR HATCH AND BONNET OPEN AND CLOSE EFFORTLESSLY. THE ORIGINAL FLOORS, THE INNER AND OUTER ROCKER PANELS, BOTTOM OF THE DOORS, DOOR HINGE AREAS, INNER BONNET PANELS, SPARE TIRE AREA FLOOR AND SURROUNDING AREAS, RAIN CHANNELS AROUND THE REAR HATCH, AND THE HATCH DOOR ITSELF ARE RUST-FREE (SEE DETAILED PHOTOS). AMAZINGLY MAJORITY OF THE TRIM PEACES, BUMPERS ( EXCEPT THE FRONT CENTER SECTION), AND CHROME WHEELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL GLASS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE TIRES ARE OLD BUT HOLD AIR. THE EXTERIOR OF THIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY LIGHT BLUE. IT WAS PAINTED A MEDIUM METALLIC BLUE SOMETIMES IN THE PAST. THE PAIN IS OLD AND PEELING AT SOME LOCATIONS INTERIOR: THE ORIGINAL LEATHER SEATS ARE SOFT AND IN GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME WEAR AND PARTIALLY FADING. THE ORIGINAL DOOR PANELS, STEERING WHEEL, RUGS AND INSTRUMENTS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE HEADLINER IS SAGGING. THE SIDE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN WITH EASE. THE CARGO AREA FLOOR COVERS ARE ORIGINAL. THE BACK PART OF THE REAR SEAT FOLDS DOWN WITH EASE TO ALLOW MORE CARGO ROOM. MECHANICAL: OUR MECHANIC TOOK THE SPARK PLUGS OUT AND POURED SOME "MARVEL MYSTERY" OIL IN EACH CYLINDER AND ALLOWED TO SOAK OVERNIGHT. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED MANUALLY TO MAKE SURE THE RINGS WERE NOT FROZEN TO THE CYLINDER WALLS.HE REMOVED THE CARBURETOR FUEL FEED LINE TO AVOID GETTING CONTAMINATED FUEL IN THE CARBURETORS. A NEW BATTERY AND NEW SPARK PLUGS WERE INSTALLED. THE ENGINE TURNS EFFORTLESSLY AND WITHOUT ANY ABNORMAL SOUNDS. THIS IS THE EXTENT OF THE INVESTIGATION THAT WE WILL PERFORM. THE NEW OWNER HAS TO GO THROUGH PROPER PROCEDURES TO GET THE CAR RUNNING AND DRIVING. THE BRAKE AND CLUTCH PEDAL HAVE NO PRESSURE MEANING THEY NEED TO BE SORTED OUT. THE CAR ROLLS AROUND WITH EASE FOR THE PURPOSE OF LOADING AND UNLOADING ON A TRAILER. ELECTRICAL: SOME OF THE LIGHTS WORK MEANING THEY EITHER HAVE BAD BULBS OR HAVE CORROSION AT SOME OF THE CONTACTS. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT LOOKS ORIGINAL AND WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATIONS. SPARE TIRE AREA: THE SPARE TIE AREA IS SOLID. IT HOUSES THE SPARE TIRE, THE WHEEL REMOVAL TOOL, AND THE HAMMER. **** GENERAL NOTES, PAYMENT, AND SHIPPING**** 1.
