The Jaguar is an excellent driver car. It has won "Best in Class" at a car show in 2012. There is a few little things about the car you need to know. The AC/Heater system control and wiper power has been professionally by-passed by a Jaguar enthusiast with 40 years of Jag experience. It is a REAL jag after all! The controls are now tucked away in the ash tray compartment . There is a switch to turn the compressor on, nd a toogle switch that controls the temperature. The AC blows nice and cold. It's been 100+ degrees here and it has worked flawlessly!! Also, he power to the windshield wipers had a gremlin in it, o he wired a switch to power the wipers. It is discreetly hidden on the bottom of the dash. You still use the wiper position lever to select the wiper speed, ut the power is on dash. Again, his works like and will NOT leave you stranded in a rainstorm. See the pictures that show where these switches have been installed. The car was re-painted to it's original color a couple of years ago and shines like new. There is a flake spot about the size of a quarter at the bottom of the rear pillars. The tires are good and should last quite a few thousand miles, ut not much more I think. The outside mirror cables have stiffness to them so I just roll the window down. Adjust them, hen leave them alone. The twin-tank transfer switch works as it should. Interior is all original (Including the stereo system)and look pretty good for a 30 year old car. There's no tears but a few of the stitches are showing their age but they have NOT split. There is a small exhaust leak that I can hear but haven't found yet. A car cover is included as well as some spare parts. I also have the "leaper" hood ornament. It did not come with it as original equipment so I could not bring myself to put it on. I have included pictures of the vintage appraisal that was done on the car. The appraiser remarks tell the story " Original car, ery solid body, uns and drives great, ttractive color". The paperwork will go with the car because you will want to insure it as a vintage car and will need an appraisal to do that with. I use this car as my daily driver to and from work. I have a combined interstate/town traffic ride in and the car gets me there and back in comfort and style. I love driving this car and would love to keep it but....I need the room.
