For your consideration a 3/4 Ton 1964 International Harvester Metro. I think this is the shorter(est) wheel base they made for this style of vehicle. I'm pretty sure it has either the 241 or 265 BG engine. The motor spins free but has not run in years. I have no doubt it will run with fresh gas and tune up, but this is sold AS IS, NO WARRANTY. Tires will hold air for transport. It will fit on an18 foot trailer bed.
It has a column shift manual transmission. The engine and transmission and linkage are complete. It does have the oil bath breather pan (not pictured). It has full glass. There is a storage compartment over the driver area (at ceiling).
It used to be a Troy Laundry service vehicle in Spokane in the 60's. Great business logo patina on the sides.
This vehicle has rusted areas. Most dents are not creased and can be popped out by a dent removal company. The vehicle is very complete and seems to have a ton of potential. The grille is in amazing condition. It has the original METRO info plate mounted above the passenger window.
The steering wheel is super cool. Honestly I need to get rid of this rig before I end up driving it myself.
Please feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks for your time, please bid!!!
