1966 International Harvester Pickup the few rust areas were cut out and new metal was welded in, most major items are new or re conditioned, new tires, brakes, battery, windshield, shocks. The intent of this restoration was to make a derivable classic not a museum piece, yes you can still see a few blemishes in the sheet metal. This truck still needs a handful of items done to be completely finished: sun-visors, headliner, Spare tire mount, replacing the window track felt on each door windows, are the items I can think of right now. Truck starts up and runs great column shift three speed works as it should new clutch was installed. Compression test revealed 140 psi or better on all cylinders of the 304 v8 and thus the engine was simply cleaned painted and new freeze plugs installed. Odometer millage is around 119,000 and that seems to be a true indicator of the wear on all areas of the truck. Truck was originally delivered to COBBS Garage in Wakefield VA and I recreated the original dealer sticker on the back tailgate. The original color was Aspen Green and the paint was applied by MAACO The bed was cleaned and roll-in bed liner applied. Feel free to ask questions.
