Car description |
---|
All original unmolested survivor; Southern California vehicle since new. Service and mileage records dating back to 1984. Original engine, transmission and transfer case. Solid floor boards, straight body panels and chassis/frame; NO rust problems to speak of. Interior is in great condition for age, no cracks on dashboard, both front and rear bench seats in good order. All window glass in good shape without any cracks. Gauges in working order.
Runs and drives, but needs some work to be road worthy. Last on road in 2012 when it was driven from Los Angeles to Joshua Tree and back for photo shoot (in 100+ degree weather with no problems). In storage ever since. Would require a new wiring harness, exhaust manifold repair, brake service, and oil/fluids servicing to get back on the road.
Absolutely beautiful patina, personally would not restore, but great candidate for either restoration or restomod project. Or simply bring the maintenance up to date and get back on the road and enjoy as original like it has been for the last 52 years.
With prior arrangement, and serious interest, vehicle can be viewed. Located near Burbank, CA.
Firm on asking price of $15,000 or will simply hold on to vehicle.
