1976 INTERNATIONAL LOADSTAR 1800 RARE CREWCAB ARIZONA EX FIRE TRUCK TYPE 3

Selling a 1976 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER LOADSTAR 1800 RARE CREWCAB. I presently have to many projects and things going and need to thin the herd. It's previous life was EX. WILDFIRE Fire truck TYPE 3 . fighting fires in Arizona someplace with a working 500 gallon tank and pumps. and gauges all in working order. This would be a GREAT addition to a small Town Fire Department as an back up brush fire fighting vehicle or a rancher / farmer for a portable watering the animal etcc. the WATERING possibilities are endless. The Body on the Loadstar in Straight and Rust Free. Interior is in pretty good shape for that time period. The 446 V8 (GAS) engine runs very strong and the manual trans shifts good too! ( recently drove it 60 miles round trip). A good tune-up would maybe be in order to make it run in tip-top shape that includes the usual fluids. sparks plugs. and adjustments for vehicles that have been sitting. My plans for the LOADSTAR was to make an OLD SCHOOL . late model CXT. MXT. RXT truck. ( Please see a few examples I found on the internet) ******* I do have a SOLID RARE ARIZONA 8 1/2 ft. "BONUS BED and IH STEP SIDE FENDER available***** for a buyer at an additional cost. if your interested. It took me a LONG TIME to find the IH "bonus bed" RARE !!!!I thought it would be VERY COOL driving a earlier Heavy duty INTERNATIONAL Crew cab with a proper International Long bed and flared fender. Why spend the BIG $$$$ for a Duramax. or F550 or Dodge 6. 7 Ram when this LOADSTAR is done would be way COOLER & NEAT and very few and far between . IF any would be around. and less the a NEW cookie cutter modern truck !!!!Switch out the gas engine with a later diesel engine . like a 6. 9 or 7. 3 V8 or 3208 Caterpillar . It would DEFINITELY get the LOOKS !!!I forgot this CREWCAB is UNDER CDL limits at 24K Lbs. but it's rated at GCWR of 40K-45K lbs. definitely has the rating to haul a small tractor. backhoe. equipment etc. you get the idea. better than "todays truck" and cooler. and you can bring your buddies to help unload. all 5 of them !!!These LOADSTAR a VERY RARE and hard to come by in Rust Free. Good shape and running condition. This Loadstar has POWER STEERING. AIRBRAKES. Selling the Loadstar 1800 in as-is where-is condition.
