Retired Fire Truck/ Farm Truck for sale: 1973 IH Loadstar1800 (2-ton) truck. Has 146K miles ; 16' wooden box with twin-cylinder scissor-type hydraulic hoist. Has highway tires up front, mud/snow tires in back; all tires are good (75% tread). 392 V-8 gas engine with 5 speed transmission and 2 speed rear axle. 1 piece fiberglass tilt-hood. I have wooden sides on it now (42" sides with 16" extensions on top for total side height of 58"). I also have a set of lower sides with a lower headache rack that works good for hauling gravel. I have a 3 piece back-end for hauling grain (with sliding grain door) and a swinging tailgate for hauling firewood. All sides and end gates are included in the deal. This truck has always been stored inside. It runs great, shifts well, hoist works well but it is 45 years old so it's not perfect: the driver side of the seat is kind of ragged; the left-front corner of the hood is cracked (but solid); the bed floor has a couple of cracked boards (from dumping firewood from a loader). The cracked boards are not a problem for hauling firewood but should be fixed for hauling grain. See the pictures; call with questions.
