Original Barn Find!!!1974 International Scout II
Up for sale is our 100% All Original Super Solid 1974 Scout II. This Scout was a true Barn Find. It had not seen the light of day since 1992. We brought it home, cleaned the fuel system, and she fired right up. The original 345 c.i.d. 4-barrel engine runs strong. The transmission shift as it should. This Scout drives great. The Original paint is patinaed very nicely!! Still shiny though. There are many chips and the hood is lacquer checked very well. The body is pretty darn nice! There is only one noticeable dent (pass. front fender). Because of our dry climate, there is very minimal rust. One silver dollar sized spot on rear driver floor in front of back seat/ step in the corner. Floors, windshield frame, bed, top, tailgate, rear door, rockers, quarters, and frame are super solid. The interior is 100% complete and in decent condition. The dash pad, steering wheel, and original rubber floor have multiple cracks. Front seats had been recovered in vinyl at some point. Back is still original material. Windshield has a crack. The rest of the glass is near perfect. Chrome bumpers are nice and straight. Tires are old but hold air and have decent tread. This is a very solid Scout!!!!! It's hard to find ones like this. Gun rack, sliding rear windows, roof rack, what else could a guy ask for??? It would be a great driver or the perfect candidate for a restoration. I have many more pictures available upon request. Please call, text, or email with any questions, concerns, or offers.
