Your looking at a one of a kind 1947 D50. This is probably the fist time you have ever seen a 1947 d50 international....Ive heard two stories on this truck:First story is it came from overseas and was in a few private collections. The second story goes that it came from somewhere near or from the topeka KS fire department. They had 3 squad body trucks, his being the only one that made it to public sale. It though was the rarest of the bunch as it was built by international with many non 1947 parts, owever built in, itled and sold as a 1947.....This is a very rare find and maybe one of the most collectible trucks available that international made. The gas tank is in the back of the truck, he plug wires are off, as lines are there but disconnected....looks to be complete minus the fire department accessories (ladders, uction and siren on the fender). The mars light is disconnected and inside the truck. As you can see in the pictures it is missing the lens. It has a clear Missouri Title signed by a previous owner in 1996. I have been in contact with him and is very helpful if you would need assistance with title transfer. This would be a 6 figure truck restored. Be the envy of your neighborhood!I have reached out to many fire truck experts and buffs and no one has any info on this truck and no one has seen it around...and these guys collectively know almost all of the info on trucks across the country. Usual excuses to sell: no room, o time, o money, id on the way and i work too much....but i dont need to sell....I don't know much else about it, ll get you pictures of whatever you want and try to be the most help that i can...I can assist loading. VIN ON TITLE AND ENGINE: FBB3612095 Ask questions and inspect this truck if your a serious buyer.
