Ohio street title in hand. Please examine the photos closely
Up for sale is 1987 decommissioned Humvee/hmmwv. With Ohio street title. To be up front there is one issue with my street title. I bought my truck from a guy in Chicago because it was had a street title. I had the truck shipped. When the titlecameto me it was showing more miles on it than what the truck had on the odometer. So that is the only issue. Otherwise it is a good title. Just wanted to make this clear. It started out as a 2 door pickup with a 6.2 diesel motor with a 3 speed automatic transmission, in camo paint. I first stripped it down to a basic hmmwv and gave it a quick paint job. Since the original paint was CARC all I could do was scuff the finish for adhesion. The paint jobisn't the greatest but it is better than before. Added a new soft top, soft doors, and updated hmmwv high back seats. Later I added r d doors, they were scuffed and painted to match the truck. The doors are starting to chip in areas. Also there is a hairline crack on the transfer case which has been patched, it has not affected the the performance of the transfer case just so youknow. I added a rear bumper. The 6.2 motor was whipped so I replaced it with a 2011 GEP 6.5 turbo diesel, 4 speed automatic transmission and 242 transfer case, with both the newer engine computer and the transmission computer. Later on the computer was burned out so it was replaced with Quick Shift stand alone tcm. Now the truck shifts as it should. The engine number 01-08-T 12555506. The guy I bought the drive train from claimed it had about 500 miles on it but don't hold it against me. The alternator is a dual voltage 24 volt / 12 volt. The 12 volt is to power the transmission and can power 12 volt accessories that can be added. The drive train came from a newer stripped out hmmwv. The guy I bought my drive train had a couple drive trains in his building. So I did the drive train swap last summer .The truck will need a new exhaust put in, the old one would not work with the 6.5 turbo configuration. Theexhaust has the down pipe and off road test pipe and that is about as far as I got. I also have a Warn 9000 lb winch on this truck. I changed the instrument panel from military to a hummer h1 civilian, and have the parts to go back to military. Everything works as it should.I am getting tired of working on the truck all of the time and I need to get things done around the house. At this point I would like to sell my truck just to get rid of it. This truck is being sold as is no warranty. I have a lot of $$$$$ tied up in this transformation. eBay would only let me post so many photos and I have more upon request. I also have a military slant back assembly with a hardtop and turret cover, it is not part of the auction and is sold separately. The sale of this truck is "as is condition " no warranty. I'm sure I have missedsomethings so feel free to ask any questions and feel free to call or text 440-376-2839. I prefer text due to I get a lot of tele marketers calling my number and I am not always with my phone. If you do call leave a message. Please don't ask what my bottom dollar is, that's what best offer is for.I'm sure I have missed a few things but thanks for looking.
