HMMWV Humvee M998 M1025 Weapons Carrier Slant Back

This listing is for my 1986 HMMWV. The Humvee six numeral Serial Number doesn't work with e bay's system so I had to list with an early year.This is a USMC Humvee from the 1999 Auction, where the Humvees were first sold off. It is an M998 that has had a complete original Military Slant Back Roof System Installed. Vehicle is in excellent condition runs very smoothly. Cruises on the highway at 65 mph and gets 11.9 mpg at that speed. All systems work and work well except for the sprayer for the window washers. Bottle and motor are new though. Frame has no rust and same with entire suspension and roof assy. When I installed the roof, I replaced the windshield frame with a correct windshield frame for a Hard Top Humvee. All isolators and hardware was new and mil spec. Turret bearing spins smoothly and surprisingly I get very little water ingress through the turret or from around the top of the cargo hatch, but some always gets in. Body tub has no corrosion. Lots of upgrades and they show in the photos so look closely. The paint in the bed area is original and un retouched which shows how nice this vehicle is. X doors are really nice too with locking door handles. I made a modification to the exterior cargo hatch latch so it is lockable with a matching key to the other locks. Engine is 6.2 and it runs well with no oil smoke at start up and no excessive smoke during hard acceleration or hill climbing, because this is a low mile engine and the Injection pump is still within spec. True mileage is unknown, because speedo had been replaced before I bought this vehicle, but it shows just over four thousand miles. I believe this vehicle to have less than fifteen thousand miles, by my experience with these vehicles and how it drives. Tires are the older style Goodyear Radials, but have little wear and have no bad wear from misaligned front or rear suspensions. This vehicle drives straight and true and is a turn key vehicle. The RT524 Radio is included in the listing and was serviced last year. This vehicle has an Oregon on road title so there is no issue with that. This vehicle can be purchased by someone in outside of the USA, but you need to contact me so I can speak with my exporter to see if your country is on the "friendly" list. Proper export paperwork is a must so no games please. Things go smoothly when things are done right so things will be done by the book.
