1983 Honda Civic 1500 S Hatchback 3-Door 1.5L

Up for sale is my Civic "S".  I have only owned the car for a few months however my interests have changed so I must let this car go.    The car is originally from California and was sold in 2005 to an owner in Illinois.  The car was stored from 2007 to 2014 which is when I purchased it. I've driven the car without any problems at all including the 17hrs (1100miles) back to NH from Ill less than 24hrs from it being pulled from storage!!  My intent was to stuff an a18a engine into this car but I refuse to alter this car as it is in incredible condition for it's age.    I will tell you the bad up front.  The body has many small dents and scratches that will need to be repaired for this car to look it's best.  There are two small rust spots on the roof below the black strips.  That's it! There is no rust or rot anywhere else on this car.      When I purchased the car it was stripped and ready for body work so in order to drive it home I needed to install items such as door handles. locks and window moldings.  In some of the pictures these items may be missing but I have all of them. As I said the car runs and drives amazing.  It warms up properly and carburetor kick down is 3 stage and works as it should.  It pulls up hills in 5th gear as slow as 30mph and cruises quietly and efficiently on the highway. I was able to get between 35 and 43 mpg as long as I kept it below 70mph. Car has great heat. no A/C. radio is new old stock Kenwood. currently there are no speakers in the car.  The front seats are covered. the folding part of the rear seat was removed to be reupholstered and is sitting in the parts car.  The coin tray to the left of the instrument cluster is intact and both cars have the center shift console with heater ducts (did I mention that included in the sale is a parts car!!).  Yes. parts car included although the body is very rough (it would never see the road again so parts only).  Most of the interior is there. all good glass including the windshield.  The engine ran until I removed the coil and distributor to put into the driver.    The last 4 pics are of the parts car.     List of new parts:  Radiator  Carpet  Wheel bearings  Brake hoses. cables. pads. shoes. rotors and drums.    Steering rack  Tie rod ends  Strut assemblies  Axle shafts  Clutch  Brand new unmounted/unpainted front air dam  2 Front and 1 rear bumper (factory bumpers with red stripe. never installed)   any questions please ask I would like a 2nd Gen Prelude. so I may trade (must have carbs and no rot. do not care if engine runs) or CX500 Turbo.  pls email me if interested.
