1986 GMC Suburban 3/4 ton 2wd 5. 7 400 trans 14 bolt rear 132. 00 miles 9 passenger This truck has always started. no matter how cold. It is the original carbureted 5. 7 and it runs very well. I have done the plugs. wires. cap and rotor. thermostat. and accessory belts. The transmission shifts well and is the 400 trans so it is very stout. The steering is nice and tight and suspension seems good. I haven't had to do anything with the brakes. they work very well. I had the driveshaft rebuilt and balanced with new ujoints and carrier bearing. It still has some driveline vibration but not too bad. Cosmetically it is pretty good for and '86. Has rust on rockers. rear quarter. and back doors. Back cargo door is damaged but functional. Headliner is falling down badly. I would just take it out. Dash is weathered and windshield has a crack. Power windows all work good. Power locks do not. Radio sometimes works on AM. but it comes with another radio that may or may not work. Front and rear heat work well. Had factory AC but someone took the compressor off. Has front bench seat and seats 9. Front seat is torn but not too bad. other seats are in decent shape. Carpet is decent. Has dual exhaust that sounds very good. idles and runs pretty quiet. Runs a bit rich. just needs carb adjusted. Has a lot of older receipts in glove box. pretty sure it only has 132. 00 but I cannot verify. Does not use or burn oil. Front tires are very good and rear tires are older but decent. Has a 40 gallon gas tank and gets about 10-14 mpg. On Apr-16-15 at 18:20:31 PDT. seller added the following information:I have taken this truck on a 6 hour round trip earlier this year and it did fine. It was my daily driver up until a couple weeks ago when I bought a newer 3/4 ton suburban to replace it. I'm sure you could plan on driving it home. Just keep in mind it is a 29 year old truck so its not perfect. I work 3rd shift. but call or text with any questions. 309. 230. 6642 Local pickup must be made within 3 weeks of auction ending.
