We are very excited to sell this vehicle, as its the lowest mileage 1980 Jimmy offered for sale since 2006 which was a 8,182 mileage Jimmy that sold at Barrett Jackson. As you will see, I added some personal enhancements to the appearance of this Truck. I found that the proportions of this Jimmy would be improved with a mild lift kit, and Off-Road wheels and tires to match. Every OEM suspension component has been preserved including the wheels and tires (which are the original tires that came with the vehicle in 1980).

This truck is in NEAR FLAWLESS condition in every aspect for the year and mileage. The previous and ONLY private owner took AMAZING care of this vehicle both cosmetically and more important mechanically. The previous owner was a collector who owned many older trucks and simply had to make room and clear out some of his collection. This Jimmy along with his others were all climate controlled stored and covered as well as serviced regularly. This truck was driven and started often and didn't sit for years without running.

The most amazing part of this truck is that when we received it, it was brought in for a VA state inspection (rigorous and thorough) and it passed with flying colors. What's even more impressive than the truck passing the inspection is it did so with the FACTORY/ ORIGINAL parts from 1980. That's right, the original tires, suspension, brakes, etc all passed with ZERO issues. One look at this truck and we knew it was stored properly.

Many cars of this age and miles drive terrible, but that is not the case here. This truck drives and operates amazing, I would without a doubt drives this truck ANYWHERE. These trucks are getting harder and harder to come across, especially in this kind of condition, don't let this one go!!!!! I would like to add this truck is rust free, if you know these trucks, you know they are prone to rust but as you see in the pictures below, you will see this truck has ZERO rust issues!!!!

Exterior Condition

The exterior of this truck is in AMAZING condition for the year and has been professionally cared for. The paint looks absolutely amazing and has a great shine/finish and is 100% ORIGINAL PAINT. You will not find any dents or dings or signs of previous paint work or repair. The headlights, driving lights, side marker, and taillights have zero oxidation, cracking or condensation. The black and chrome trim on the side the body typically shows peeling and wear on these but NOT on this truck, this trim looks amazing. The original factory wheels look great and the original factory tires show over 65% life and ride smooth with no road noise and just passed VA state inspection.

I tried to include as many pictures as possible so you can see the true condition of this original Jimmy. All windows and glass are in great condition. All body panels are 100% original and line up perfectly. The body is 100% rust free with NOT 1 SINGLE sign of rust, paint bubbles, etc. This truck lived inside a climate controlled facility and was covered as well. I would like to add, the previous owner had the undercarriage painted with a flat black paint (not thick undercarriage spray) The paint is thin and was applied to give the undercarriage a very clean look. You can see all GM factory stamps on suspension parts, frame, axels, etc. I have included photos below just to show you how clean and original the undercarriage is. I have close up photos of screws and bolts just to show the details of the metal to prove it the spray was not applied to cover rust, etc. Please note how smooth the frame, leaf springs, metal parts are showing they have zero rust issues.

Interior Condition

The interior of this Jimmy is in 100% FLAWLESS condition. The carpets are 100% perfect as they have been protected by rubber all weather floor mats. The carpets seriously do not show 1 single stain and look brand new. The seats look absolutely BRAND NEW and show ZERO defect or even wear issues. The dash is also 100% perfect with zero cracking of defect. All buttons and knobs are in place with no wear and function like new. The photos below will show EVERY part of the interior so you can see for yourself how clean it is. The interior is super clean as you will see in photos. All interior components work flawlessly including power components. Interior is a very strong 10 out of 10.
