1972 GMC C2500 Truck

1972 GMC 2500 has power steering, power disc brakes and a 350 crate motor with auto trans. This truck is a very good driver and runs very well. My family has owned the truck since 1980 and we are the second owners. Mileage 1513798.
EXTERIOR: Significant renovation work was done 8 years ago. The front chrome grill and bumper are new. The mirrors, door handles, light lens and trim is all new. The rear diamond plate step bumper is new. The windshield has been replaced, all the rubber gaskets and window seals are in excellent shape. Door jambs are painted. Original vin tag with weight capacity is still riveted to the jamb. This is the heavy duty 2500 series so it has 8 lug axles with shiny Eagle Alloy wheels and Michelin LTX tires. The original bed has been painted with bed liner but is was not professionally applied. There are a few paint imperfections shown in the photos.
INTERIOR: Inside the cab has been completely painted a gloss blue like the outside. The door inserts have been painted. Seats are from a Chevy Tahoe and not perfect but very comfortable. The dash pad has been replaced. The carpeting is new. A new tilt steering column was added with a 16" GMC padded steering wheel. Glove box liner is new and it has its original options sticker. Gas tank was relocated under the truck with the fill cap placed inside the truck bed.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The inside fenders are new. The 350 crate engine has about 50K miles and sounds great and runs strong. There is a 4-barrel Holly carb, electronic ignition and electronic distributor were added.
UNDERSIDE: Very solid, not rust free but minimal surface rust. The fuel tank is new and mounted between the frame in back. It has disc brakes in front, first year it was offered. It has headers and dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers..

ISSUES: The paint is very good but a few chips are on the right hand door. There is some tree sap on the hood and door where it was parked at the shop having an oil leak fixed. The chrome accent trim on the sides is a chrome foil tape. The trim looks good but is starting to peel - it should be removed. The bed is acceptable but a professional rhino liner would help the appearance. The brakes are good but could use a little maintenance and maybe a new booster and brake cylinders. At the end of auction, I will require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit from winning bidder and PayPal is ok for deposit only - buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and shipping arrangements and I will assist shipper on this end as much as I can.
