1956 GMC Suburban Carrier Pickup

Offered here for the first time is most likely the most incredible example of a GMC Suburban Carrier pickup in the world. This truck is an original 1956 suburban carrier with its original GMC 288 cubic inch V8 which is seldom seen as most of these were 6 cylinders. The V8 engine is paired with a 3 speed manual transmission. Very recently treated to a body off restoration, literally every nut and bolt of this truck has been meticulously restored back to its original showroom condition. Only 1000 examples of the Suburban Carriers were produced in total between 1955 and1957 and very few were ordered with the more expensive V8 engine option.This truck has been finished in its original colors of Omaha orange and Tacoma cream paint. Every piece of chrome has been meticulously re-chromed and all mechanicals completely disassembled and rebuilt. The interior has been restored to its proper and original condition.
