Description
This1960 GMC Pickup, model P1000. It is a frame off restoration and is restored to perfect showroom condition. The upholstery is redone in authentic 1960 GMC fabric. The AM radio, tachometer, and clock were rebuilt and recalibrated by expert restorers. I rebuilt it as a custom model, with chrome bumper and grill, custom upholstery and the optional clock, radio, tach, and hood ornament. It has a 60's era Hurst floor shifter.
The restoration was done at Gene Ledbetter’s shop, so the paint and finish is exceptional. The engine and three speed transmission are completely and professionally rebuilt. The engine is a rare 305 V6; this engine is exclusive to GMC in the years 1960 - 1966.
The odometer reads 36407, but its probably rolled over, about 500 miles since restoration.
