This is a very special 1931 Ford Model A five window coupe and is very original and has been in the same family since the mid 50's and his a California car with 27. 163 miles. Their is no rust anywhere and has only been repainted once and upholstery in the late 50's. The car is two tone with very very dark blue and black with black fenders. It's very hard to see in the pictures that it is in fact a two tone car. The car is great and a joy to drive and is so tight. their is no radials or squeaks and is very quite. I have had many Model A's and this one is special. This car has excellent brakes and has cast iron hubs front with rare open vented style. Drive train and engine are smooth and sound. no issues at all. This car has a fantastic trunk which can fold down and be locked with pins to haul stuff like a small pickup bed and the bracket that mounts the trunk is so stout that the trunk does not move at all and the spare tire is mounted to the rear of trunk. This is the best trunk I have ever seen on a Model A. you will be impressed. It also has a expandable luggage carrier on the passage running board and also has a chrome front window frame and wind deflectors mounted to the car doors. Car has the best fine finned extra tube radiator for supper cooling and engine oil filter. Also a home made Emergency red light for road side trouble that stores in the rumble seat floor with a mount so it does not move in transit. All these items and upgrades were to believed to be installed back in the 50's. The inside of the car has Model A dash meet plates and other car related shows and events the car attended from the 60's thru to 1971 in the San Francisco bay area. The car took a long recess until lately because the husband took ill in the early 70's. The outside window stickers are something to see also a fantastic Hooray for Hoover sticker and a AAA sticker a member since 1930. This car has a great history and should be preserved and hopefully will be taken care to preserve that history. This car has flaws but is still so neat because of the original feel and history and the story of where the car has visited the last years it was driven. The lacquer paint has that aged look but still shines and looks historical and fitting. The person who buys the car can have their choice of either black powder coated wheels with brand new Firestone black wall tires with 0 miles or a set of straw color painted wheels with white wall Firestone tires. your choice. The pictures show both colors of wheels and tires on car so you decide. If you have been looking for that special Model A that people will really admire and specially Model A folks and that has no issues that you could get in and drive cross country this is the one.
