UPDATE: The dash pad has been changed with a like new one. You can see it in the interior pictures. YOU may never see one of these again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please read carefully as our descriptions are accurate and honest. This is one of two of our vintage police vehicles we are selling right now. The other is a 1994 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which is also posted on eBay. This is a very nice and super clean 1987 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. You never see these anymore! Believe it or not this came straight from the police department as you can see it still has its government plate(not included. has to go back to them!) They did have it parked several year before they finally released it. We drained out the bad gas. put a battery in it and it fired right up! It runs great. We have not driven it far as it has been sitting for a long time. We believe a vehicle that has been sitting for a long time should be properly inspected and tested before it goes back on the road. However. we did put about an estimated 20 miles on it. it drove great and the transmission shifted smoothly. The tires have very good tread on them and they appear to be close to new. In our past experience. after driving for a while they usually smooth out but we cannot and do not guarantee this. The interior is in excellent condition except for the driver's seat which has typical where of police vehicle's driver's seat. The body has typical dings and normal where of a 28 year old police vehicle. The car has come from a southern region and the body is in great condition. The interior is in great condition too. Very nice for its age. The seats look great but it will need carpet as it appears to stained. The power lock system works but some of the door locks do not. This is typical of a car this age. it's usually the lock actuators which can be bought at an auto parts stores. Most of the windows work. it seems that the passengers front is not. I'm sure the car will need some tinkering as it is 28 years. The car was repainted by the department at one time. It was brown. The probably made it a " bosses car" at one time as it has no roof holes or interior mounting holes and it has carpet instead of a rubber floor. This car does have the 5. 8 351 which is more rare than the standard 5. 0 302. Expect defects: Again this car is 28 years old. don't expect it to be new. It is in great shape for its year. but it is not used. Like all of our cars. this is an as-is where is transaction. You are welcome to inspect during the bidding process. Once the auction is over the transaction is over. Ohio residence must pay sales tax. Bid now. you won't see one of these again. It's a classic vintage police car. If you ever wanted to restore an old police car this one is already 98% there!!! Please feel free to ask any questions you make have.
