Car description

This 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe has the unmistakable appearance of a vintage hot rod. But as you get in for a closer look, you will see that that this is a carefully crafted custom with a quality build, awesome V8 power, and some unique details that are nicely hidden in this street machine.

Satin black sets the tone right for a mean hot rod. And while this one loves the look of intimidation, the finish also has a soft glow that lets the light show off the curves that make the '32 Ford an icon. So while the overall package likes to be the aggressor, there's also plenty of the devil in the details. For example, it's easy to pick up on the full red pinstriping package, because there's custom artistry from nearly every angle. And this glossy red also coordinates with everything from the steel wheels to the devil airbrushed in the driver's back window. This has all the best hot rod pieces, including a chopped roof, smoothed firewall, bright waterfall grille, and a big V8 on display. But the closer you look, the more you see a hidden quality. After all, your eyes are automatically drawn to the classic wide whitewalls, but you may not instantly notice that these are also modern tires. It's some of the hints that let you know this mean machine is a bit different.

Inside is more of this darkness attitude. And while evil might have been the inspiration, it also looks like someone sold their soul to the devil for some style. It has a fresh and clean look where the red piping gives us the same premium impression as the pinstriping did on the exterior. And there are cool details, like the supple ultraleather used to finish the seat and the skulls embedded in the headliner. It's all set in a tidy setup where they took the time to put in the upgrades, like the concealed power window controls. And the radio is a retro-style piece that's really a modern AM/FM/CD stereo. The steering wheel has the classic three-spoke style, and it's on a Flaming River tilt steering column. Plus, the dash has a sleek appearance, and when you fire this one up, the full Dakota Digital gauges awaken with a cool blue glow.

The motor is absolutely part of the exterior's detailed presentation with the specially painted black block, heads, and valve covers. And we love the air topper that includes custom pinstriping. More than just show-worthy, this 327 cubic-inch V8 was built to run. It has go-fast goodies like a Comp Cams high-lift camshaft, Edelbrock performer EPS intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. The headers have the look of side pipes, but they flow to glasspack-style mufflers that feed large booming tips coming off each side (another one of this car's hidden upgrades.) This has a true hot rod style with a polished four-link drop-axle front end, and there are ladder bars in the rear with adjustable coilovers. Plus, you've got a three-speed automatic transmission, a stout 9-inch rear, and there's a So-Cal front disc brake setup designed to look like classic fined drums.

This is a thoughtful build that comes with thousands $$$$ in receipts documenting how one Ford can look so mean but feel oh so nice. Call today!!!
