WATCH WALK AROUND VIDEO-------->>>>. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dbW1g6DEmc
Up for sale is my 1979 Mustang Hatchback 5.0L, I am selling to invest the money into a 1969 Mach 1 I recently purchased.
1979 is the FIRST year of the Foxbody!
The Good:
This car turns heads and is an extremely nice driver with low milage, it has always been cared for its entire life. The car runs and drives very well, and will reliably start. It has the factory exhaust with the factory catalytic converter! It does not look like the fenders have ever been off, all body lines look extremely straight. Both doors open/shut extremely easy, as they should. The door handles work perfectly! (If you have owed Foxbodys before you know what I am talking about) Wiring has not been hacked or spliced and it has the original radio. I would not hesitate to hop in this car and drive it anywhere!
The Bad:
This car is extremely nice for a driver but not a show car, with a little work though it could be! Some of the trim moldings have curled very slightly due to heat. My guess is they could be straighten back out with a heat gun. As pictured there are a few bubbles in the paint, smaller than a nickel! I also point these out in my walk around video. The brakes are soft, not sure if calipers need bled, replaced, or something further...as I have been busy with other projects. Still able to be driven though!
I am hoping this car goes to a great home and is cared for! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,Brad
