**NO RESERVE** This Fox-Body is a survivor car that we pulled out of a barn in Georgia. This 5.0 5-speed GT has a little over 118,000 miles on it. It is 95% original and unmolested, down to the date-coded spark plug wires. The exhaust was swapped out in the ’90’s to Flowmasters and it has a nice deep growl. The wheels are 90’s aftermarket wheels and the tires are Cooper Cobras, which were available in the 90’s. These tires are not safe to drive on due to age. The exterior paint code is 2D, which is Medium Scarlet and the interior is also called Scarlet. The interior is in excellent condition, however, there is sun fading on the top of the rear seats. It has the original radio, complete with a Conway Twitty cassette in the deck, just the way we found it. It sat for 19 years. Before we tried to start it, we replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump, sending unit, fuel filter, purge valve, and all the seals. After we got the fuel pump working it started on the first try. The first start after almost 20 years revealed two inoperative injectors, which we replaced, and then the engine started right up correctly. This car does start and drive, but it sat for 19 years and, at minimum, you’ll need to replace rubber parts like the hoses and belt, and you’ll need to change out all of the fluids, go through the brake system, give it a tune-up, and other maintenance items. It will also need a paint job. The Car Fax shows no accidents listed for this car, but it appears that it had a minor hit on the right front that was repaired.Title is clean. Buyer must pick-up in Locust, NC or arrange their own vehicle transport. On Sep-07-20 at 06:20:39 PDT, seller added the following information:
