This auction is for a 1973 "Q" Code Mach 1. The car overall is rusty and will need complete restoration. I have seen worse that were restored to beautiful cars and this one is pretty rare based on option content alone. The "Q" code was the most powerful engine choice for 1973 and reflects the 351 Cleveland 4V Engine. There are experts that can't agree if the engine is a cobra jet or not so do your research. The previous owner indicated the engine runs good. They took the intake manifold loose in the process of installing an aluminum intake and they just never completed. I would rebuild the engine myself and do a concourse restoration to get max value but this car has a lot of potential. The good: "Q" Code car alone is getting hard to find and was the best engine available in 1973. According to Marti report There were 908 built with this paint code (Saddle Bronze). 352 With this paint/trim. 6568 with this engine/transmission combo. The option list is long and includes NASA (non functional) hood. Tu Tone Hood Paint. Ginger Kiwi Vinyl Roof. GR78x14 BSW Tires. Power Steering. Sport Deck Rear Seat (fold down). Console. Power Front Disc Brakes. Bumper rub strips. Air Conditioning. Rear Window Electric Defrost. AM/FM Stereo Radios. Mach 1 Sports Interior. Tinted Glass Complete & Forged Aluminum Wheels. Most of the original parts are there with the exception of the console and grill. The bad: This car spent some time in Ohio and has rust throughout the car. All of the metal components would likely need repaired/replaced. We can assist with loading and the car comes with roller wheels/tires so transport shouldn't be a problem. The car is available for inspection and is located 15 miles South of Atlanta Motor Speedway. Contact us for appointment. This is a NO reserve auction so bid to buy. Georgia is a non title state so ownership will transfer with bill of sale only. Please ask questions before bidding.
