You will not leave the parking lots early driving this truck. Everyone will stop you to take a look. Always a crowd gatherer. This truck is loud if you do not know Detroit Diesels. Go to youtube: 1978 F350 Detroit diesel. There are two videos of this truck running. Sound sweet !! I have owned this truck about 5 years. I have taken it to car shows, work, and the grocery store.Always fun to drive. I do not get to use it enough these days. Look on you tube for Detroit Diesel conversions. This isTHE nicest Detroit Diesel pick up truck you will find. The body is beautiful. No rust anywhere. Even the frame is spotless. Look at the pictures. There is one spot on the hood where the clear appears to be wearing. Interior is awesome. As you will see on the back of the seat, Bob had the truck built. Bob was an investment caster and machinist. He personally made the valve covers, air box, exhaust manifolds, and exhaust pipes from investment casting stainless steel. You could not replicate this if you wanted to. A true one-off custom. This truck needs to be seen to appreciate. It needs to be driven more so ALL can appreciate it. Ithas never spent a night outside. Always garaged. It is paid for and resting comfortably in the garage. If I do not meet the reserve it will remain there until such a time that I can drive it again. this truck deserves only the best home and care. I can not begin to think of the amount of time and care, not to mention money, to build this fine of a truck. You probably could not even fine a donor truck in this good of condition to swap a motor into. Again, look on line at the conversion out there. Then take another look at this truck. Truly a work of art and love. There is a feeling of pride and joy to not only drive this truck, to be seen in this truck, but to also show this truck, either at a car show, or wherever I happen to park it. Perhaps on second though I shouldn't sell it. Thank you all who have taken the time to read this and to look at this truck. I know some off you would not like to buy this truck or have the means to, but I appreciate your time and interest you have taken in this truck. I hope you enjoyed sharing this with me.
