Car description

WHAT IS THE HISTORY? We bought the car from a man from Rome, Georgia. He came a car show here in Tennessee and put the car for sale. Cant tell you much more other than the registration is from Rome, Georgia.
ANY RUST ISSUES WITH THE CAR? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, the floors and other body panels look original to me. The sub frames look very solid as well as the torque boxes. Thin under coating on the bottom, I see no holes or structural problems.
HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN WRECKED? The sub frames look straight, I see no crunched metal and the NICB check is clean.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK!INTERIOR UNDER DASH LIGHTS WORK!SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAUGES WORK!FUEL GAUGE WORKS! HORN NOT WORKING!
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives good, it is not power steering, but steers easy in my opinion.
HOW DOES THE CAR RUN? It runs good in my opinion! The 289 engine has plenty of power, it is a 4 barrel carburetor.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? It is a 289 that starts and runs good. I hear no knocks, no rattle and no pins.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting C4 automatic with no slip.
HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? To me it stops good for the day of drum brakes and no power assist.
HOW IS THE PAINT? I would consider it upper end driver quality. It shines good, I see no dents and no dings.
HOW IS THE CONVERTIBLE TOP? Good, the top is power and works good.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good dash pad, very nice carpet, door panels good, front bucket seats good with no wear, back seat cover very good with a couple of wrinkles ( will pull the bottom cover tighter and steam the wrinkles out).
HOW IS THE GLASS? No cracks, no milky places, the side window roll up and down good. The windshield has 1 wiper mark!
IS THIS A REAL 1964 & 1/2? Yes, it has the generator, big horns and hood and front fender bezels with the right shape.
