Don't miss out on this awesome restored 1970 Mustang Mach 1. There are many others out there to choose from but look closely as most are not near as nice as this one. Ready to show and go now. I am a private seller and have restored many of these as my hobby. NOT A DEALER!!!! Just a Mustang fanatic who love to put them back in action.
I Just finished this beautiful 1970 Mustang Mach 1. Marti report included as well as all the receipts for the build. It was a project that stalled when I bought it. It was freshly painted blue and was very straight. The only panel I can tell was replaced was some of the floor and they were welded in well and hardly noticeable. I cleaned the undercarriage extensively and repainted it with red oxide as factory.
The paint is very nice with very few flaws. No rust or bubbles at all. Not wavy and great gaps. Rear spoiler, rear louvers and front spoilers are new aftermarket. I love the muscle look they give it and it also has 14" magnum 500s with trim rings. I put new BFGs on it.
The suspension, brakes, lines, master, booster, P/S system, all wiring, radio, gas tank w sender, windshield and rear 1/4 windows. and weatherstrips all new.
The engine and trans are NOT the original one it came from factory with but all correct otherwise. Most desired 351 Cleveland 4V Fully rebuilt with new holley 4 BBL Electric choke, Petronix, Alternator, regulator, water pump, fuel pump, starter, flywheel, solenoid, hoses, belts and radiator. Trans is FMX also fully rebuilt with receipt.
It is a factory A/C car but I replaced it with a Vintage Air surfeit system. Works great. The radio is Classic Auto Sound 230 with door speakers and 6x9s in rear deck. Sounds real good too.
Car runs and drives great. Alignment just done too. I have driven it about 50 miles but the Odometer decided to chip a gear and is stuck on 3.9 miles. It clicks and makes the speedo needle jump slightly every 100 ft of so. Speedo works good other than that. Great oil pressure, Temp reads slightly higher than it actually is (common for these) amp gage works well too. I also installed Blue LED lights in dash for better visability. Looks great.
The interior is very nice with new carpet, headliner, sun visors, dash pad, door panels, steering wheel and console door. The seats were very nice and probably been done previously. Not fold down seat.
It has a Stainless Steel Pipes exhaust system but original manifolds. Sounds great with just enough tone.
I kept every receipt as I built it and if you ever did one you know just how out of control you can get. They will go with it as well as Marti report. Car was born green with green interior. I feel it was a good choice to change it to blue.
Car is located in Champaign Illinois for inspection. Please ask any questions or need different photos. If you are serious and want to talk in person feel free to call me DJ @ 217-418-6063
