1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7 Litre 428 Convertible 4 Speed CAR - RARE RARE!!!!
A real 7 Litre convertible - see VIN '63Q' tells the store. (Not an XL with 428 engine but a real 7-Litre)63=Galaxie 500 7-Litre 2-door convertible, bucket seats
Q=428-4V 7-Litre V-8, 345 hp @ 4600 rpm, 462 ft-lbs @ 2800 rpm, 10.5:1 compression ratioWhat is a 7-Litre? Seehttp://www.7litre.org/whatisa7litre.html
Has all original 7-litre badges and not bad shape considering they are 54 years old.
Steal my car. Priced to sell
Yes a running and drive-able 4 Speed Convertible 7 Litre: (428ci - 4 speed) Motor was rebuilt about 3 years ago and runs great. Nice car overall and has its original 428 Engine with an original 7-Litre 4 speed toploader just rebuilt along with NOS Hurst Shifter, new clutch, pressure plate, bearings, flywheel resurfaced.
Also will include automatic transmission and center shifter with center console piece that can replace manual center piece if you wish to convert back to automatic.
Drives and runs great. Very small rip in top (see photos) Car being sold as-is and where-is.
I know I will get emails about rust...who buys a car and does not ask. So hopefully the below answers those questions. And if you want a rust free car then go pay over $60,000. Or buy my car and will give you the rust for free.
Well in my opinion Rust is very very minimal. Frame is solid and car has very few rust spots. I've seen rusty cars and rust buckets and this is NEITHER!! On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being perfect) I would say this car is a 7.5 and I don't think it would take much to make this car a show car. And worthy being a 7-Litre Convertible to boot. Come see for yourself.
I drive approx once a month on sunny days. Always garage kept and do not take out in the winter.
Odometer show approx 72,000. Of course I have no idea if original or not. It's a 54 year old car
Please email if you have any questions or to schedule a look. NO DEALER PLEASE
Title clean and in hand.
And if you live in PA, I know a tag agency in PA that is OPEN to transfer title and tags currently on my car!! So YES you can drive right away.
Can help transport if needed via a u-haul open full car transport and my truck for .50 cents a mile plus tolls and transport cost; which is approx $50 a day I believe.
Only selling since I am trying to downsize. It's hard and more work than I thought. Have 5,000sf more than I want and way too much stuff. But it's good stuff like this car.
