It's not that easy to get the stance and style, but I think Jon Graham (Cal) made a good job on this '38 Ford. It just sits right...... The cab is chopped 6" front and 61/2" rear and a 2" roof pancake. A 4" section and 6" channel over the custom built frame. Behind the '38 grill you find the Stovebolt a '59 Chevy 235 and 3 speed tranny with a one off shifter. The engine is 030 over and topped a CEW valve cover, a Edmund 2X2 intake with Holly 94 carbs and Edmund filters, Fenton headers and Smitty mufflers. 4" dropped front axle with '40 Ford brakes and '55 Olds rear end with drum brakes. 16" Firestone tires on Ford steel. The interior is all hand formed copper and aluminum with diamond tuck door panels and trans cover. Aluminum dashbord with SW instrument (all work except the speedo) and a cool vintage switchpanel for light and ignition. . I have owned it for many years and its running great for what it is. I just had a front brake job with new cylinders, shoes and trued drums. The shoes are not fitted to the bigger dia the drums have know and that is somthing that has to be done. Smale things all the way like the neat aluminum brackets for the '36 tail lights. It was featured in Rodz #38Clean title on a 1938 Ford in my name.
