This 1949 F100 is not just a means of transportation, it's an experience and adventure to drive. The experience has to do with the modifications and upgrades to the F100. These modifications make for a sweet, clean, Pro Tour 1949 Ford truck body and frame, powered by a professionally rebuilt high performance 302 cid engine, mated to an excellent shifting Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission, and HD Ford 9" rear differential.Competition Yellow paint looks great, now flaws. New looking chrome, stainless trim, and emblems. I doubt you'll do too much yard work with the F100, but have no fear, if you're in a pinch and need a pick up, it'll handle a good size load without hesitation. If you lose your mind and find yourself hauling something in the restored wooden bed, be sure to clean it prior to entering the next show. The wood bed is one of my favorite parts of the F100. Wooden beds are rare and very unique, especially today when all you see are plastic Ryno bed liners. Although the truck has been modified, it retains some of the original parts that are really cool features.
