Car description

This is a genuine S-code 390 Mach 1. Born red with a 4-speed. Documented with Marti report. Rotisserie restored. It is not concourse condition but a very nice looking, great driving car. This is 1 of 3 Mustangs I just bought from a collector.
EXTERIOR: The body was taken down to a bare shell and put on a rotisserie to be restored from every angle. The body is clean metal, it is straight and fits great. Repainted it's original color- candy apple red. Smooth, glossy paint with no issues. Has painted blackout hood treatment. Turn signals work at the back of the hood scoop. New Mach 1 decals. Jambs are painted real nicely. Bottom of the doors are clean, has new weather strips, window seals and sill plates. It's dressed up with the factory hood scoop, sport mirrors, hood pins, louvers and spoilers. Upfront the bumper and trim is bright but not new. The windshield is clear, stainless moldings around the windows are nice. Original door handles and 1/4 window trim. In back the reverse lights, bumper, pop up gas cap look new. Original chrome Mach 1 wheels.
INTERIOR: It has a deluxe interior inside with the high back bucket seats. The inside was Dynamatted. Front seats have new upholstery with the red stripe. The carpet has the red sewn in mats. The deluxe door panels and dash pad was replaced. The upholstery and the plastic trim in back is real nice. Headliner and visors are tight, no holes. Interior lights work, even in the doors. The instrument panel and console are good original condition.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor was completely rebuilt recently. It's original block was scrapped but the other components are original- crank, flywheel, heads etc. New carb. It has two very desirable features- power steering and power disc brakes. The compartment is cleaned up nicely. Neatly painted, has reproduction hoses and clamps, decals. Many components are replaced- fuel pump, cap & wires, water pump etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean metal in the trunk. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is glossy. Has new decal and weather strip. Latches were cleaned up.
UNDERSIDE: The body was flipped on it's side so the bottom could be restored properly. It's all metal, then it was sealed and protected with a coat of Rhino liner. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter is new. #s matching, original wide ratio 4-speed. The trans was completely rebuilt. New clutch, pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel. Original rear end was rebuilt, has 3.25 traction lock. Brames are all new, disc in front. E-brake is hooked up. Front end was completely rebuilt. New shocks front and back. New dual exhaust with stainless mufflers, correct splitter tips.
One of the best looking cars made in my opinion. This one is very well restored recently and has great features.
