1973 MUSTANG MACH 1, REAL 05 CODE CAR, SOLID ESTATE FIND,H CODE UPGRADED TO CJ

This is a very solid 73 Mach1. I purchased this car about a year ago at an Estate Sale. Car had been sitting covered since 2007. when the owner passed. the vehicle went to his wife. who passed last year. From the limited information I received. the car was semi restored at TJ's Mustang in Salem. VA about 2007. Found car covered in back yard when I purchased the vehicle at the sale (see picture). Got the vehicle home. changed the oil. put Marvel Mystery in & fired car up. Engine has some smoking out of drivers side tailpipe. maybe from sitting so long??? Have started & driven a few miles every month since purchased. Trans shifts fine. engine runs good (could use tune up). Brand new battery. tires. & wheels. Tires are Cooper Mastercraft. rear 255/60/15. front 215/70/14. Rear wheels are Wheel Vintage 15x8 Magnums. front are Rare Original 1966 Magnum 500's. Body is very solid but. clear coat is flaking off paint & a few bubbles as seen in picture's. Floors. tail panel. shock towers. torq boxes. frame rails. all look great. Has chip on front of hood. Car is a factory 351 H code. Has correct 73 CJ Heads & intake. Not sure about block. if it is original or CJ. could not see numbers for starter is in the way. Automatic. factory guages & tach. front disc brakes. lock down hood. spoilers. does not have fold down rear seat. Interior is in great shape. no cracks or tears. Headliner & bucket seats have been recovered. new dash pad. Car runs & drives but. will need work to be road ready. Things that it will need. tune up. xhaust leaking. brake lights not working. Brakes seem to work fine. Car has been in front end accident at some time in its history. Can see evidence that it was fixed. Overall. a VERY SOLID Mach1 Mustang.
