Car description

For sale is our 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT barn find that had been sitting since 2004. It is finished in Cranberry Red over Wimbledon White. The Bronco was delivered new Littleton Colorado. And lived all of its life in Colorado and Montana until June. The Bronco was ordered with a number of options, A/C, 4.10 gear ratio, limited slip, center console, sliding windows and much more. The attached Marti report documents all the options.

The heart of this truck is a 351 cubic inch V8 backed by a C6 automatic transmission. The engine bay is a good example of original. It is still fitted with the factory 4.10 gear ratio and limited slip rear end. Truck runs and drives good.
Truck wears a set of 15 inch wagon wheels with BFG A/T tires in 32x11.5R15.
The exterior of the Bronco is solid over all. The bronco does have some minor rust on the drivers door, tailgate, right quarter. The paint has a heavy patina and does have some chips, scratches and minor issues as expected. The cab mounts, floors, drip rails and all other common ford truck rust spots are in amazing shape on this truck. The frame and underside is all original, clean and solid. The fiberglass top is all original and needs a refinish.
The original low back bucket seats are still present, and in good shape except for the visible tear in the drivers seat. The rear seat is in great shape. The carpet is original and faded. All the gauges, lights and switches work as they should. The rear windowstill works as it should. The factory heater still works as it should and just had the heater core replaced, the A/C needs a belt and charge. The evaporator core had to be unhooked for the heater core to be replaced.

This is a great survivor Broncos to either drive as is or restore. Low reserve. More photos available upon request.
