Car description |

Two owner 1974 Ford F-250 Camper Special. I purchased the truck in January 2018 from the original owners estate in Idaho. Until then, the truck had spent it's entire life in Northern California and Western Idaho.
Truck had sat in a garage for six years and barely ran. A local mechanic friend and I have spent several evenings and weekends over the past year bringing the old girl back to life. Here's a list of everything I've done or had done to the truck.
New carrier bearing
New glass pack muffler
Transmission was opened up. New seals, New Bands, New filter, New Fluid
Engine was opened up. All new seals. (Rear, Main, Pan, etc.) Internal parts looked great so nothing further was done. Engine has had 200 miles put on it since we serviced it. No leaks!!!
New plugs and wires
New water pump and belt
Rebuilt carburetor
New gas caps (2) installed
Fuel tanks dropped and drained
Brake lines bleed and new fluid added
New tires (4-30-19)
The truck is 46 years old. It does have a few areas of rust but the majority is the surface variety. The truck has a great patina and would look really nice if someone decided to clear coat the outside.
It's a solid daily driver now. I have a lot more in the truck then what I'm asking but that's how it goes with these old girls. I love to rescue them, fix em, and send them to their new home. Would love to see someone drive it for many more years to come.
Please contact me directly if you have any further questions.
Thank you for looking.
