The Old Oregon Motor Company presents: 1965 Ford Mustang EV Electric Conversion. Springtime Yellow/Black. This Mustang Coupe was converted to an electric vehicle by the current owner’s father in 1995 with assistance of Electrifying Performance, Inc in Portland, Oregon. The car is powered by a 9″-diameter 120-volt motor from Advanced DC Motors, Inc. paired with 10 dry-cell batteries and a Ford three-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in Springtime Yellow over a black interior, and additional features include custom front and rear battery trays, 14″ styled wheels, and a custom instrument cluster.
