1929 FORD MODEL A ROADSTE, Modified for racing in 1952 by well known builder Ed Massey, this became his brother in law Leon Sells's first circle track car. This partnership of Massey and Sells lasted decades and brought Leon Sells to the hall of fame. Old photos supplied by a family member. I bought the car about 4-5 years ago in the Atlanta Ga area and used it locally here in N.J. / Pa. for car shows, vintage circle track and drages and The Race Of Gentlemen in Wildwood, N.J. The car was recently a 1st. place winner at the Flemington speedway Historical Society 9th. Annual Car Show. This is an old school Real Deal! Hot Rod! and gets a lot of attention!!! The car appeared on the front of the article for TROG in OL' Skool Rodz magazine issue #93, May 2019 and multiple times on line. The car runs great and fun to drive. The engine is a rebuilt 1953 ford V8 flat head 8BA with a performance cam and 60 over pistons. The 3 speed transmission was also rebuilt as well as a new master and wheel cylinders. The body and frame are solid with a few tiny rust spots that add to that vintage flavor that catches every bodys eye, because of the beautiful old patina I would not touch this car cosmetically just drive and have fun. The old original tow bar comes with the car, a (2-1/8 ) ball size which is obsolete now. If questions: nine zero eight 3 zero 3 thirtyone fiftyeight . The car is being sold as is with no returns, Please look at the photos and decide for yourself or try to come see the car you will not be disappointed. Thanks and good luck bidding.
