Description
1929 Hotrod Roadster - daily driver and great parade car! The car was put together sometime around 1990 or 1991. Body and fenders are fiberglass, everything else is metal. The frame was from a 1929, so it's registered as a 1929. a peppy Chevy 350ci engine with fuel injection (Supposedly the engine came out of a Corvette). The automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2013 and will chirp the tires when it shifts into 2nd gear if you're too heavy on the gas. The front end is a Mustang II clip - I had all the bushings replaced in 2016, so handling is tight. I also had the brake lines replaced at the same time (Disc brakes were installed in 2011). Also, the starter motor, electric cooling fan, battery, and mufflers are relatively new.
I drive the car fairly regularly to work (as long as it isn't raining), and use it in 3 parades a year. It shows very well, but there are a few dings and scratches. I've included a picture of the worst ding on the left front fender. In addition, I'll take the company name off the side of the car when it sells.
Lastly, I will consider trades! Please send me a note with any questions or if you need additional pictures. Happy bidding!!!
