Car description

This is my 1949 Ford F-6 COE that unfortunately I'm selling. No reserve and high bidder will get a great truck. This truck cab lived it's whole life in Mississippi until the start of the build you see now. The cab is mounted to a 1987 Ford F-250 chassis and retains the same motor form that truck which is a great running Big Block 460. The transmission is from the same 87 Ford donor and is C6 and shifts great. The truck run, drives and stops very well. It drives like a 1987 Ford truck. The truck has power steering and power brakes. The original 1987 fuel tank devoloped a small leak so that's why you see the 5 gallon gas can strapped to the frame in the pictures. The radiator and battery is mounted in the front under the hood. The body is actually better than a lot I've seen, I would say a lot better than some. There is small rust holes here or there but easy fix or leave the patina. There are a few small dents that should hammer and dolly out. The leather seat I believe is a third row seat out of a Suburban. The floor had a few smaller holes and was replaced with flat steel. The headlights and brake lights work or did the last time I drove it. This truck is a great project and way ahead of the game from just starting with a cab. These 49-51 Ford COE's look incredible when done. Only reason I'm letting it go is I have other commitments I need to take care off. I neve, ever intended on selling it. This will fit on a standard 18-20 foot car trailer. I live in GA and this state and many others in the south do not issues titles on older cars. I will provide a Notorized bill of sale which other states have to recognize because that's is the way that it's done down here. Buyer needs to make PayPal deposit at auction ending and then can either do a bank wire transfer or cash in person when picked up. Needs to be paid for within 7 days of auction close. I can store the truck but needs to be paid for.
