Car description

This is a very honest, clean Mustang with performance A-code 289 and a 4-speed! Believed to have 51,000 actual miles. Believed to have original metal. The previous owner even verified the codes stamped in the metal. It won a people's choice at prestigious Geneva concourse. EXTERIOR: Very attractive original Arcadian blue car. The body seems to be mint original metal. It's very straight and fits beautifully. Doors click shut. Paint job is smooth and glossy. Door jambs are very clean,... painted glossy. Has new sill plates and fuzzy window seals. The chrome and trim is bright and shiny including the emblems, grill, bumpers, tail lights etc. Optional trim includes wheel well trim, luggage rack and dual mirrors. It also has spinners on the hubcaps with red, white and blue centers. BF Goodrich radial tires. The power convertible top is white, in good shape. Has a blue boot when down. INTERIOR: It is practically like new sitting inside this car. I'm looking at a beautiful dash with the rally pac gauges. Working tachometer and clock. New chrome bezel around the speedometer and glovebox. A retro Mustang stereo neatly fits in the dash. The dash pad and horn ring are new. Upholstery, door panels, armrests and carpet look new. Has new visors and optional day-night mirror. Correct reverse lockout 4-speed shifter sits on the floor. Has embroidered carpet floor mats, cushion armrest console with cupholders and seatbelts. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The correct 289 A-code performance engine which includes a 4-barrel carburetor, high compression and dual exhaust. It is correct except for upgraded set of headers and Cobra finned aluminum valve covers. The engine bay has clean original metal, the factory seams and spot welds are nice. The metal is smooth, painted satin black. Bottom of the hood and jamb is gloss blue. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Has spotlessly clean original metal. The quarter panels have no seams or splices, they look perfectly dry. The wheel wells and under the mat is clean metal. Has rubber insulator over the gas tank. Rubber plaid matt and tire cover. Includes jack and spare. The well liner is new. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nice, weatherstrip is soft. UNDERSIDE: Very clean original metal floors and frame rails. Has new shocks and rear springs. Upgraded with sway bars front and back. Has recent dual exhaust. Original 4-speed trans, new clutch. This is not a resurected Mustang. I believe it has always been a clean, well cared for car. Looks and functions great!
