Car description |
---|
Here is a rare 1969 Ford Torino GT Fastback featuring the original 351W that has been completely rebuilt along with the original FMX automatic transmission that was completely disassembled and rebuilt in 2016.
This Torino has been professionally re-painted in a stunning Competition Orange base coat / clear coat and looks amazing! The highly professional paint job is less than 6 months old, and was laid evenly over completely original sheet metal. All the door gaps are even and true, and prove this car to be accident free. There are no scratches, chips, scuffs, dents or dings to be found anywhere in the painted surfaces. The exterior trim and brightwork is in beautiful condition, but is original and shows a bit of wear. Not anything to get upset about; just the normal amount of small dings and light surface scratches.
The Black vinyl bench seat is in excellent condition, and is also correct to the build sheet. The upholstery has been completely replaced, as well as the foam inserts and carpet. All the original items inside this GT's cabin that were in great shape were retained during the restoration. The end result is an interior that shows very nice originality along with period correct replaced items. For added comfort; a Vintage Air Gen II Super Cooler unit was added along with a 1968 factory a/c dash to finish off the original vibe. Also installed is a Kenwood sound system with 2 - 100 watt amps; EQ with sub control; and head unit mounted in the glove box with a remote.

Power is transferred to the original rear end with 3:00 gears.
