Car description

cleaned up and mechanically gone thru to journey 1200 plus miles under it's own power to Minnesota.
Well documented NC state inspections show last on the road 1988, with additional inspection reports verifying mileage.Stored in an indoor storage facility.
Previous owner was an actual Lincoln Mercury dealership owner.
This vehicle is the most complete authentic mustang I have seen, does not need much to return to a concourse type status or just drive and restore at your leisure.
A True Factory "A" Code 289 4v 210 hp 4 speed manual Convertible. Only the Shelby "K" code came with more HP
I drove this vehicle from North Carolina to Minnesota just 2 months ago.
New fuel tank, Sending unit, pump, pump to carburetor line, brakes all around, wheel cylinder, Master cylinder Ignition, filters, coolant flush with a few hoses and a few bulbs got her back on the road.
During the trip 5 new tires were replaced with a fresh alignment got us home.
Current family medical issues are putting this up for sale
Caspian Blue with blue interior white "rag top" shows a date code of 77' under the trunk.the paint looks to have been done prior to the top due to no over spray around the tops interior and looks to be lacquerMinimal rust is visible on parts of the floor and front lower torque box splash pans. all parts available from reproduction vendorsThe factory 289 4V still has all id tags in correct locations with proper date codes.Factory 4 speed shifts great, Power top works up and down, vinyl rear window shows age but still visible to see thrufactory spare tire jack and lug wrench is still in trunk. All body panels shows correct date codes supporting build tag on door and fender rail.
For being 54 years old this has to be one of the most complete cars I've ever seen.
