Description

1991 Mustang SSP, former Florida Police Car. The car is running and driving, but is not roadworthy. I drove it to the shop and had the oil changed, checked all the fluids, recharged the A/C. It is leaking oil from the intake gasket from dried seals from sitting. The tires are dry rotted from age, but holding air, has the original Pony Wheels that came on it. The paint is shot, but the car is nice and straight from what I can see, no visible damage. I believe it was a slick top Police car, with blue lights mounted inside. There are a couple of holes in the dash where the radio microphone was mounted, and the hole for the Police spot light is still there. It has an after market radio installed. The interior is in fairly good condition, no rips or stains in the seats, carpet not bad. Someone has added disc brakes to the rear, they were drum brakes from the factory. The shocks and struts are worn out, front end and steering is sloppy. The shop said the brakes are working, but the pads need replacement soon. The car has a lot of potential in my opinion, but I want to be brutally honest, it needs a lot to bring it back to where it should be. It is a special car, one of 385 SSP cars in 1991. I bought the car on Ebay a few weeks ago, and the seller over represented the car. I will not do that. My honor is worth more than making extra money on a classic Mustang by deceiving potential buyers. I have no problem with anyone looking at the car before they bid, and I will answer all questions the best I can. If you ship the car, I will be available to help load the car. Thanks for looking!
