This awesome T is pro built and was featured in articles written by Pat Ganahl for Rod & Custom magazine in December 1988 and August 1990.
The Specialty Cars body has a lowered floor and raised back making this T uncommonly roomy and comfortable. The grey naugahyde interior was done by Los Gatos Upolstery. The Archer turtle deck features a beautiful rolled rear pan.
Spindle mount front wheels were machined to accept Super Bell rotors with Wilwood calipers all around. Rear wheels are cast from 16" Halibrand centers with Monocoque rims. Tires are 32 x 12-1/2 x 15s
The extensively re-worked frame is also from Specialty Cars and has a 109" wheel base. The chromed front axle and spring assembly is by Specialty Cars and uses a reversed Corvair steering box.
The iron Chrysler Hemi is a .030 over 331 (342 c.i.). It's running an Isky E-4 cam, J&E 8:1 pistons, ported heads with Manley 2.125 and 1.8 valves, polished rockers, Mallory Mag, 6-71 blower and uses two 650 Holleys. It starts and idles instantly and runs strong.
Transmission is a Muncie 4-speed. Rear end is a Ford 9" with 4:30 posi. on Aldon coil overs.
This vehicle is sold as is & where is. Cash only. Limited assistance with loading is available on sight.
