Up for sale is my 1956 Ford F6. Truck starts right up cold or hot and runs perfect. It's powered by the factory 292 FordY-block engine and backed by a 5 speed trans with 2 aspeed rear end.Theclutch feels great and it shifts verysmooth for a truck of this era.The truck was sand blasted and painted last year, it will draw attention anywhere you take it. The frame, body, cab and bed are all solid andlook good.A lot of work was done tothe truckincluding all new brake lines, linings, wheel cylinders, aftermarket hydro boost brake system, new carb, coil, rebuilt 2 speed actuator and switch, new battery and alternator....im sure there's a lot moreI amforgetting about. I currently have it tagged and insured and it is driven regularly.I have aclean and clear Maryland title in hand for the truck.
All that being said, this is a 63 year old vehicle. It was not a frame off restoration and is not 100% perfect, although it still shows very well. There are several small things on the truck that many not work completely right, as to be expected with something of this age. The speedometer cable is bad and doesn't readroad speed or mileage due to that. Passenger window is cracked pretty bad, all other glassis fully intact. Some of the marker lights aren't operational, maybe only 1 or 2 of them. All 6 tires hold air and have not lost any air pressure since I've owned the truck, but they are showing their age (dry rotting/cracking).
This is a nice truck that you can jump in right now and drive home. I've used it to haul hay and equipment around several times and it handles a load quite well. I am only selling this truck because I purchased a new home and I'm tight on money.....wish that wasn't the case, because I had planned to keep it forever.
Feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm willing to show the truck to anyone and let them drive it before the end of the auction. I am able to store the truck indoors for up to 3 months after salefor a small fee, as long as its paid for in full. Will also help facilitate pickup/delivery as best as I can.
Full payment required within 7 days of action end. Cash or certified funds are the only forms of payment I will accept.
