Car description |

Selling for a friend. Straight from Oregon. Has clean Oregon title and old registration. Still has Oregon plate. A good 95% rust-free body. Undercarriage has zero rust - immaculate shape and all original. 89,000 on odometer - not sure if original.
Has a 302 V-8 automatic transmission. Was a former Oregon State University van. They bought it new in 1973. Has all markings from state university on bumpers. Previous owner bought van in Oregon in 2015 and drove it to upstate New York, then van was parked for a year. All doors open and shut fine.
Van runs and yard drives. Haven't taken on highway because tires have dry rot. Changed oil, filter, greased, put new spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, air filter, had carb re-built. Had fresh fuel put in and flushed fuel line. Van could use points and adjust timing. (motor runs a little rough). New windshield wipers, new air filter. Brakes are fine. E-brake works good. Horn works. Many of the lights work (headlights and high beams work) - could use a couple bulbs to get sticker. Radio does not work.
Body has some minor dents on back door and on side. Only rot is on the battery tray and inside rear door jamb both sides (see pictures).
Passenger side vent window was replaced with lexan. Windshield has two small chips.
All three seats are original. Front seats need to be reupholstererd. Dash has some cracks. Dog house needs to be bolted down, but two latches hold it good.
Has a spare tire but no jack.
